At Taylor Creek we consider ourselves to be a toy store for big kids who happen to enjoy fly fishing anywhere in the world, in rivers from Russia to New Zealand, or on bonefish flats from the Bahamas to Christmas Island. We have assembled what we feel is the very finest in equipment and clothing to enjoy and be comfortable in these widely varied habitats and fisheries. We are not married to any one supplier and have been able to pick and choose those products that we feel offer the utmost in performance, durability, service, and value. Our choices come by way of extensive use and hands-on experience around the world. If we sell a product that means we have fished with it. We invite you to inspect the choice of products we sell. Fly Rods
No one fly rod or even line of fly rods is the best choice for all anglers. Some prefer fast action rods, some prefer slower action. For some fishermen a priority is packability for easy travel while some fishermen never leave the streams of their own backyard. We have assembled what we feel is the finest collection of fly rods currently manufactured. All are guaranteed against breakage. Reels
Just as no one rod is right for all applications, the same is true of reels. Whether you are throwing size 20 midges for browns sipping along a weed line, or chunking poppers for trevally in the breaking surf, you need a reel that is designed with your specific purpose in mind. We stock reels from  ABEL, TIBOR, HATCH, ROSS, LAMSON, ORVIS and SAGE. Regardless of your intended use or price range, we stock the right reel for you.

Flies
All of the flies we stock are tied specifically for our store to the most stringent of standards. Many of our trout patterns for this area were developed by the Taylor Creek guides and are not available from any other source. All of our trout flies are barbless for your convenience. In addition to one of the countries most complete selections for fishing the streams of the Rockies, we also keep in stock saltwater flies for tarpon, bonefish, permit, stripers, barracuda, trevally, and all the other toothy creatures that swim the Earth's oceans. We also stock salmon and steelhead flies for the great rivers of the Northwest, Alaska and Russia, as well as a wide variety of bass and panfish flies. While our fly selection is as complete as possible, we realize there are patterns out there that we haven't even heard of. Consequently we have a number of custom tiers who can duplicate any fly you wish. We stock flies from  UMPQUA, SOLITUDE, DREAMCAST & MONTANA FLY COMPANY.

Fly Tying
Fly tying is most definitely an art. Here at Taylor Creek we take the needs of the artist very seriously. We have a wide selection of fur, feathers, synthetics, and tools from only the very best distributors. UMPQUA, HARELINE, NATURE'S SPIRIT, SPIRIT RIVER, ORVIS, RENZETTI, DYNA KING, WAPSI, METZ, GAMAKATSU, and WHITING FARMS are just a few of the companies represented on our walls. Clothing
At Taylor Creek we view our clothing selection as fashion dictated by function. As long as you are dry and comfortable there is nothing wrong with looking good as you fish. We have selected clothing and luggage from such lines as PATAGONIA, SIMMS and ORVIS.

Technical Gear
Technical gear is what it implies, and we have whatever you will need for those long hikes into the back country for native cutthroat, or for the once in a lifetime trip you are taking to an exotic destination like Christmas Island. Day packs, gear bags, and luggage are just a few of the items we carry from companies that you know: SAGE, PATAGONIA, SIMMS, and FISHPOND. Wherever you are going, we can confidently outfit you with whatever technical equipment the adventure calls for.
